Slovakia is a very interesting and beautiful country. The country of rich culture, unique monuments and breathtaking views.

 

It is true, Slovakia lies close to heaven... Two thirds of the country's area are high mountains! The Tatra Mountains with the highest peak reaching over 2600 m a.s.l. work as a magnet for tourists.

 

When we come to Slovakia we are met with great kindness from the part of the local people. The Slovaks are openhearted people and eagerly socialize with tourists.

 

Over a pint of delicious Slovak beer or, suprisingly enough, very good Slovak wine, they like to tell local legends and stories, like the one about Slovak Robin Hood - the romantic hero named Janosik.
